Vermont Business Magazine The VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) will be offering an eight-week bereavement support program beginning Tuesday, May 3, 2022 with two separate sessions each Tuesday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the VNA & Hospice’s Casella Conference Room of Rutland’s South West Region office at 7 Albert Cree Drive.
Led by Chaplain and Spiritual and Bereavement Coordinator, Reverend Jesse Bradley, the eight-week program will examine the stages of grief and how to successfully navigate the process from grief to hope for those newly bereaved. Grieving is a natural reaction to the death of a friend or loved one. This non-denominational support program will help participants cope with the many grief reactions a person may face.
“Our support group is designed to help those going through bereavement in our community by providing them with hope, healing and essential coping skills that can better enable them to move on and recover. ‘thrive even after suffering a loss,’ Reverend Bradley said.
The course is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
