In The Girls’ Ultimate Support Group, “Lynette is the last real-life girl who survived a massacre. For over a decade, she met five other final girls and their therapist in a support group for those who survived the unthinkable, straining to get their lives back in. Then a woman misses a reunion and her worst fears come true – someone knows the band and is determined to tear their lives apart again, piece by piece.
“But the thing with the final girls is that no matter the chance, the blackness of the night, the sharpness of the knife, they’ll never, ever give up.”
Meagan wrote in his comic book review, “Hendrix puts his characters in the absolute wringer. It’s a bloody and vicious journey for the imperfect heroine, both physically and emotionally. In terms of action and horror, Support group offers a frantic pace and thrills.
